About Bed & Blade Lawn Co.

A well-cut edge in Gardere is a line drawn against the green, and along the sidewalks off Gardere Lane that line holds all week. Bed & Blade Lawn Co. works the St. Augustine yards of this stretch south of Baton Rouge, mowing at a height that keeps the runners thick and the soil shaded through a Louisiana July. Trimming follows the fence posts and the mailbox stems, and the clippings get sent back into the turf instead of out to the street. By the time the heat stands up off the pavement, the truck is two yards down the road and the first one looks pressed. Beds get their border cut clean, so the mulch stays where it belongs and the lawn knows exactly where it ends.
