Aydell's Land Transformation

About Aydell's Land Transformation

French Settlement grew up where the Amite River winds toward Lake Maurepas, a low, lush place of cypress knees, Spanish moss and live oaks, with its French roots spelled out right in the name. In country this green, a lawn left alone for a few weeks starts drifting back toward swamp edge, and Aydell's Land Transformation works to turn that tide. Mowing, trimming and clearing overgrowth bring a property back into shape, and the change from tangled to tidy can be striking. On a soft September evening, with the river smell drifting through town and herons lifting off the water, a yard won back from the wild green is a sight to savor.
