About TaylorScapes

The Kisatchie National Forest reaches close to Forest Hill, endless ranks of pine running off into the hills, and on July mornings the whole town seems to move early to stay ahead of the noon heat. TaylorScapes brings landscape care to yards at the edge of that forest country: mowing, edging and shaping the beds that soften a house against the trees. A good scape is about proportion, grass and planting and pathway in easy balance, and summer is when that balance is hardest to keep. Stepping onto a striped, crisply edged lawn while the pines still throw their morning shade is one of midsummer's small pleasures.
