J.R.'s Trees

About J.R.'s Trees

An April wind through Forest Hill sets the tall pines swaying, and by evening the yards beneath them are scattered with cones, twigs and the odd snapped branch. J.R.'s Trees works under that canopy, where lawn and trees can't really be separated: mowing around trunks and roots, trimming back low growth and clearing what the branches let fall. A lot shaded by big pines and oaks has a character all its own, cool and dim even at midday, and keeping it tidy lets that character come through. When the wind settles and the grass under the trees lies clean again, the whole place feels taller and calmer.
