About Freeman's Landscaping

High summer in Fenton means heat shimmer rising off the highway and cattle egrets stalking the pastures beside grazing herds, white against all that Jefferson Davis Parish green. Freeman's Landscaping works the yards of this prairie village, where open land and a horizon that never quits make every planted bed and shaped shrub stand out. Landscaping here is about building a little shelter in a wide-open place: beds laid out in clean curves, plantings kept in form and lawns cut to a smooth finish. Under the blazing noon sun, a Freeman's yard reads like a cool green island, the kind of place that makes a passing driver ease off the gas to look.
