About Southern Grit Lawn & Landscaping

Eunice in February runs cool and damp, and then the Courir de Mardi Gras comes through the country roads with horses and fringe and noise enough for the year. Southern Grit Lawn & Landscaping works the weeks on either side of it, when yards are stirring and everything wants a reset before spring. Late winter is for clearing, for cutting a firm border back into a bed that blurred over the cold, for taking the mower low once the turf begins to move. Mowing, edging, trimming, bed borders and haul-off of what the cold months dropped — steady, unglamorous, satisfying. By the time the prairie greens, the lawn is already out ahead of it.
