About Lawn care

March in Eunice is the turning week — one warm rain and the whole prairie decides to go. Lawn care answers that with the first cut of the year: winter's ragged growth taken down, borders re-established, the yard handed back its shape. There is no ornament to the name and none needed in the work — mow, trim, edge, clear, and return when it needs it again. The town sits in open country where wind moves through everything, so cuttings get gathered off the pavement rather than left to scatter. A plainly kept lawn, held all the way through the growing months, is its own kind of good news.
