About Jefferson Lawn Care and Maintenance LLC

In February the live oaks let go all at once, dropping last year's leaves just as the new ones push in, and half of Estelle wakes to a yard that needs clearing. Jefferson Lawn Care and Maintenance LLC runs the steady circuit for exactly that — mowing, edging, hedge trimming and cleanups that come back around the way weeks do. Maintenance is the plain word for the work, and the plain word is the honest one: a lawn held at the same height and the same lines, month after month, until nobody on the block can say when it was last cut. Out along Ames Boulevard the lots run wide and flat, and the grass has opinions about a warm winter. The satisfaction is in the return trip, pulling up to find that nothing has gotten away.
