About Grass Gobblers, LLC

Delcambre wakes with its boats: engines idling in the canal, gulls arguing over the docks, the morning still cool enough to work fast. Grass Gobblers, LLC starts the route while the town is still moving toward the water — mowing, edging clean lines along the drives, trimming around porch steps and utility poles, and blowing the walks clear. Yards here sit low and flat, close to Bayou Carlin, and they grow hard through the warm months, so the schedule is what keeps them honest. There is a plain pleasure in a lawn cut in straight parallel passes with the edges cut crisp. By the time the heat arrives, the block looks better than it did at dawn.
