Rice Capital Lawn Care

About Rice Capital Lawn Care

In Crowley the land lies flat and generous, rice fields running out to the horizon while the sky does all the work a mountain range would do somewhere else. Rice Capital Lawn Care starts early here, out before the Acadia Parish humidity climbs, when the light is still low across the prairie and every blade is heavy with dew. Summer asks a great deal of a yard in this parish — heat that pushes growth week over week, a sudden Gulf rain that greens the whole town overnight — and the answer is simply showing up on schedule, mowing clean, edging to a line you could sight down. Along the older streets off Parkerson Avenue, where oaks lay shade across the sidewalks, a trimmed bed and a swept walk change the entire face of a house. The best part comes at the end of the day: stripes laid straight, clippings blown off the drive, the grass standing quiet in that long gold evening light. Week after week, that is the work, from Crowley on out to the neighboring towns.
