About H&K Lawncare

The prairie around Crowley is flat enough that you can watch weather arrive from twenty miles off, and in a country with no hills the only edges are the ones people make. H&K Lawncare makes them — mowing, string trimming, edging and cleanup, week in and week out through the long green run of the year. The wind is constant out here, so the final pass with the blower matters as much as the cut; clippings never stay where you leave them. A finished yard under that enormous sky looks deliberate, a small piece of order set down in a lot of open air. That is the pleasure in the work.
