About KOJ&Lawns LLC

Deep beneath Cotton Valley lies a layer of rock that carries the town's name into geology books, proof that this patch of Webster Parish is known from the bottom up. KOJ&Lawns LLC works the opposite end, the first few inches of soil where the grass actually grows. Out here in the piney hills of northwest Louisiana, a pumpjack nodding in a far pasture can be the only thing moving on a still June afternoon, and the steady drone of a mower fits right in. Every yard gets cut level, trimmed tight around the mailbox post and porch steps, and finished so it looks deliberate from the road. Groundwork, in the most literal sense, for a town that sits atop its own formation.
