Manicured Lawns

About Manicured Lawns

Cheneyville stretches along Bayou Boeuf in southern Rapides Parish, a farm town of old homes, wide fields and pecan trees that rain their nuts onto the grass every fall. In October and November those yards fill with shells, fallen leaves and a last flush of growth before cool weather takes hold. Manicured Lawns takes its name seriously, mowing each lawn to a smooth, even finish and trimming tight where grass meets pavement. Against the slow brown water of the bayou and the weathered porches of town, a freshly manicured yard looks polished and cared for. It is detailed lawn work for a town with deep roots.
