All Seasons Lawn Service

About All Seasons Lawn Service

Wind is the constant in Carlyss. It comes up off the Intracoastal and the marsh south of town with salt in it, bending every blade one direction the whole afternoon. All Seasons Lawn Service works with that rather than against it — mowing on the pattern that lays the grass down right, edging the walks, trimming what a mower can never reach, and hauling away the branches and debris a Gulf storm scatters across a yard overnight. In this corner of Calcasieu Parish the grass keeps growing long past the point most places quit, so the schedule does not taper the way a calendar suggests it should. There is a real satisfaction in the last pass of the day, the yard squared up while the light goes orange over the ship channel. Then the truck rolls on toward Sulphur, and the evening gets the place to itself.
