About Apollo Lawns LLC

Bridge City wakes under the Huey P. Long Bridge, freight going over on the high steel while the sun comes up the river behind it. Apollo Lawns LLC is out on the streets below by then — mowing, edging, string trimming, and blowing the walks clear before the day takes on its heat. On this stretch of the west bank the lots sit close together, so one clean yard lifts the whole block and everybody sees it. The work is plain: cut level, edge straight, leave nothing behind but the smell of fresh grass. By mid-morning the route is three yards along and the bridge is still humming overhead.
