About Acadiana Preaux Landscaping LLC

Just south of Breaux Bridge, Lake Martin wakes in spring with a whole rookery of egrets lifting off the cypress, and something about that green-and-white morning suits the way Acadiana Preaux Landscaping works a yard. They shape lawns the way the swamp shapes itself — patiently, with an eye for where the light falls. Grass grows long and fast in this subtropical corner, so their weeks are full of mowing, trimming and keeping the edges from wandering into the beds. They tend properties around town and out toward Parks, leaving each one tidy enough to sit out in. In a place this lush, keeping order is its own quiet art.
