About Vinny's Sewer Treatment Plants & Excavation & Lawn Care

By afternoon in Bourg the thunderheads stack over the marsh, and everything along Bayou Terrebonne waits to see whether they will break. Vinny's Sewer Treatment Plants & Excavation & Lawn Care keeps the grass in hand through all of it — mowing, edging, trimming along fence lines and ditch banks, and hauling off clippings and storm-dropped limbs. Down here the cane runs to the shoulder of the road and the moss hangs still in the live oaks, so a yard cut clean reads like a small held breath of order. The work fits itself around the weather rather than fighting it, catching the dry hours between one squall and the next. Come evening the lawn is level, the ditch bank is trimmed back, and the light goes soft over the water.
