About Munch Services LLC

By noon along the Bourg-Larose road the air over the cane goes thick enough to lean on, and the only honest sound for a mile is a mower holding its line. Munch Services LLC works through that hour — cutting, edging, running the trimmer out to the ditch bank where the grass always tries to take the shoulder back. Down here a yard turns fast; four days of bayou humidity and a week of sun and it has ideas of its own. The work is keeping ahead of that: hedges shaped back off the windows, beds cut free of what crept in, the drive blown clean before the truck pulls away. Come evening, when the thunderheads slide off toward the Gulf, a Bourg lawn ought to look like somebody stood over it — and it does.
