About Active Tree Services

In Bourg the road follows the bayou and the live oaks follow the road, leaning out over the water in long gray arms shaped by every wind that ever came off the Gulf. Active Tree Services works beneath those crowns — pruning that takes the sail out of a limb ahead of October, tree trimming that keeps branches off a roof and a boat shed, tree removal when a water oak has rotted at the collar. Terrebonne ground is soft and the wind arrives from every direction across a season, so weight and balance matter here more than height ever does. Storm damage cleanup is a familiar routine along Bayou Terrebonne: clear the drive first, then the yard, then carry all of it out. What is left is the shape of the place again — open, swept, and ready.
