North Country Property Maintenance

About North Country Property Maintenance

Snow is a rare guest in Bernice, but north Louisiana has its winter surprises: a hard freeze, a glaze of sleet across the pines, now and then a true blanket of white this close to the Arkansas line. When it comes, North Country Property Maintenance clears driveways and walks so this little railroad town can get moving again. The work begins in the dark, the air sharp and every ice crust glittering under the porch lights. A clear path to the door and an open drive out to the road make a frozen morning feel manageable. Where snow shows up so seldom, a cleared driveway at dawn feels like a minor marvel.
