Bruin Lawn Care

About Bruin Lawn Care

On a cold bright morning the fog still lies low over everything, like a blanket that hasn't decided to lift. Bruin Lawn Care works the yards around Baton Rouge as it burns off, when the grass is still wet and the light comes in sideways across it, long and low. Mowing, edging, string trimming, and hauling off the clippings — done in the order that leaves a lawn looking finished rather than merely shortened. There is a particular satisfaction in the last pass, when the stripes line up with the street and the walk is blown clean to the curb. Grass grows fast and forgives nothing left undone, so the route keeps its rhythm week after week.
