About Hawkins Lawn Service

Late afternoon in Bastrop turns the pines gold along the road out toward Chemin-A-Haut, and the heat finally lets go of the yards. That is a good hour for finishing work: the last pass of the mower, the trimmer around a mailbox post, the blower taking a driveway back to bare concrete. Hawkins Lawn Service keeps that rhythm across town, cutting on a set schedule so no yard ever gets away from itself. Northeast Louisiana grass grows hard from April into October, then eases, and the work turns toward trimming, raking and hauling off whatever the season drops. A lawn mowed and edged the same day each week stops being a chore and becomes simply a given. That steadiness is the entire point.
