About Maw Maw & Paw Paws Stump & Lawn Care

On the West Bank at Avondale, the ground is low, the river is close, and there is always something big moving on the far side of the levee. Maw Maw & Paw Paws Stump & Lawn Care handles what the land does in between: lawns that grow twelve months out of the year, and the stumps left behind after a storm takes a limb-heavy oak or a water-loosened pine. Grinding a stump down below grade turns a hazard into plain ground again, and the yard can finally be mowed straight across instead of steered around. The rest is steady upkeep — cutting, trimming the fence lines, edging where turf meets the drive, clearing off what falls. Jefferson Parish weather gives a yard plenty to recover from, and there is genuine satisfaction in handing one back level, open and ready to use.
