About JayC's Lawn Care, LLC.

Freight still rolls through the middle of Amite City, and the whole town keeps half an ear on it — a horn out past the depot, then quiet again, then somebody's mower starting up two streets over. JayC's Lawn Care, LLC is often that mower. Autumn here comes in gradually rather than all at once, the heat easing off while leaves and pine litter start collecting in the corners of every yard, and the answer is simply to keep showing up: mow, trim, edge, rake the beds clean, haul the debris away. There is a real satisfaction in the last pass of the day, when the lines lie parallel across the front lawn and the walk reads sharp against the grass. Come back the next week and do it again, and a property never has to be rescued — it just stays right.
