About Funez Tree Service & More

From the levee at Addis the Mississippi runs higher than the rooftops, and the cane on the west-bank flats goes silver whenever the wind turns. Funez Tree Service & More works the yards between the batture woods and the rail yard — live oaks and pecans with long horizontal limbs that need weight taken off ahead of the season, water oaks that have outgrown their lot. Tree trimming and pruning here are as much preparation as maintenance; tree removal is for the tree that has already told you it is finished. When a system comes up from the Gulf and the yard is full of limbs by morning, storm damage cleanup gets the drive open, the debris stacked at the curb, and the grass back in view. West Baton Rouge weather does not negotiate, so the work gets done ahead of it whenever it can be.
