About KDJ Lawn Maintenance LLC

The Abita River runs sand-bottomed and tea-dark at the edge of town, cool enough in June to make a person stand in it a minute before going back to work. That is the kind of summer KDJ Lawn Maintenance LLC keeps: noon heat, grass growing fast enough to need cutting again before the week is out, hedges pushing past the window line. Mowing, edging, trimming, hedge work and cleanup, taken in order and finished. Nothing spectacular about it — a lawn kept level, shrubs squared back off the walk, the clippings gone rather than left to yellow. Come evening the yard sits neat under the pines and the whole property looks a size larger than it did that morning.
