About Houtz Tree Service

South of Winchester the ground gives way all at once and the Kentucky River palisades drop into a green trench full of cedar and cliff-hung oak. Houtz Tree Service handles the everyday version of that same puzzle — the yard tree on a slope, the big shade tree leaning toward a bedroom window, the one that has to come out between a shed and a septic lid. Tree removal, tree trimming and pruning in August mean early starts, water in the cooler, and a canopy read carefully before the first cut goes in. When a late-summer storm walks across the county and lays a limb over a driveway, storm damage cleanup is the same discipline run in reverse: unbuild the tangle, move the wood, leave the grass combed. A tended tree is a quiet thing, and quiet is what people want handed back.
