Billy Hummers Tree Service

About Billy Hummers Tree Service

West of Winchester the land settles into pasture and hedgerow, and the old Strodes Creek sycamores mark the water from a mile off. Billy Hummers Tree Service works both sides of that line — the farm lane where a limb has to come off before the hay wagon can pass, and the in-town yard where a maple has grown into the eaves. Tree trimming and pruning keep the shape honest; tree removal takes out what is hollow, split, or simply sitting too close to the house to keep. April storms run in from the southwest with a wind out ahead of them, and storm damage cleanup is the call that follows. Brush hauled, ground raked, the fence line clear again — that is the shape of a good day out here.
