Williamstown Lake keeps a breeze moving through the coves even in June, and the yards that run down toward the water are half sun and half shade, never dry at the same time. Dakota Lee LLC mows to suit that — a higher cut where shade thins the turf, a tighter one out in the open — then trims the fence lines and edges the walks. Clippings get blown back off the drive and the path down to the water. Brushy corners and lots left to grow are cut down until a regular schedule can hold them. In October the leaves come off the oaks in sheets, and they are cleared before the rain mats them into the grass.
