Steve's lawn and tree service

About Steve's lawn and tree service

Winter strips Taylorsville down to its bones: bare maples over the side streets, pale sycamores along the creek banks, every limb plain against a low grey sky. That is the season Steve's lawn and tree service reads a tree best, taking down what is dead or crowding a roofline and clearing the brush out behind it. When the grass wakes back up, the work turns to mowing and trimming on a regular round, holding yards even from the first flush of April through the last of the November leaves. A place with its trees sorted out and its lawn kept short feels twice as open as it did. It is plain work, and it shows from the road.
