About Brown Star Landscaping LLC

Come late October the hills above Stanton run rust and gold, and the sandstone out toward the Red River Gorge holds the afternoon light long after the valley has gone shady. Brown Star Landscaping LLC works through that turn of the year — leaves cleared off the turf, beds cut back and mulched, the last mowings taken while the ground is still firm. In the growing months the same yards get mowing, trimming and edging on a schedule, plus shrubs kept off the walls and windows. Powell County packs a lot of terrain into a small map, and a yard tucked against a hillside has to be worked with care rather than force. A property that reads tidy against all that big country is a genuinely satisfying thing to leave behind.
