About Frazier Lawn and Landscaping

Stamping Ground takes its name from the buffalo that once crowded a spring here, and that water still runs cold out of Scott County limestone. Frazier Lawn and Landscaping works the yards between the black plank fences and the North Elkhorn bottoms — mowing, trimming, edging, mulch laid crisp against the turf, shrubs kept in shape before they close in on a window. Midsummer noon is bright and wide open in this country, with heat shimmering off the pike and the only shade a line of hardwoods along a fencerow. Work here means matching what surrounds it: ground that is kept, on purpose, down to the last border. A bed with a clean shoulder and a lawn cut even makes the whole property sit right.
