Staley's First Class Stripes

About Staley's First Class Stripes

A mowing stripe is only light — grass bent one way throws dark, bent the other throws pale — and on a long June evening in Somerset that trick is at its best. Staley's First Class Stripes cuts with that in mind, running clean parallel passes so a yard shows its pattern all the way to the property line. Trimming tightens the corners the deck cannot reach, edging draws the border at the walk and the drive, and the clippings get blown clear so nothing muddies the effect. The pattern fades in a few days, the way it always does, which is a fine argument for coming back next week. Around Pulaski County there is no shortage of yards that would look twice as good with a line laid through them.
