On a summer Saturday evening downtown Somerset fills with chrome and slow engines, and every yard on the way in gets looked at by a few thousand people who are not from here. Squared Away Lawn Care builds its work out of straight lines and right angles: the mow laid in parallel passes, the trim carried level around every post and step, the edge cut true where grass meets concrete. Clippings come off the walk and the drive so the geometry is not blurred by what the mower threw. Grass will not hold a perfect shape on its own in a Kentucky July, which is exactly why the schedule and the same order of operations matter. The result is a yard that looks composed rather than merely mowed.
