About Mike Kennedy Landscaping and Design

Come April the plank fences around Simpsonville stand black against new pasture and the bluegrass comes on so fast you can nearly watch it happen. That is when a yard's bones show — where a bed line wants to curve, where a bare corner is asking for something. Mike Kennedy Landscaping and Design draws those lines and plants them: beds shaped and mulched, shrubs set with room to grow into, lawns mowed and trimmed so the whole design holds together. Shelby County has a long habit of laid-out land, fence by fence and field by field, and a good yard borrows that same order. Seasons later, the curve cut in spring is still the reason the front of the house looks settled.
