About Prestige Lawn Care LLC.

Late light in downtown Shelbyville does something to the old brick — the storefronts along Main and the antique windows over on Washington go warm and long-shadowed about an hour before dark. The side streets off of it hold deep-porched houses with small, particular lawns, and Prestige Lawn Care LLC. tends them the way that kind of yard asks to be tended: mowing tight around foundation plantings, trimming close to iron railings and stone steps, edging the walk so the brick shows its full width again. Small yards hide more work than big ones, all of it within a few feet of something you cannot hit. The trade is that the finish shows immediately, from the sidewalk, to anyone walking past. A block of houses cut and edged the same week looks like a neighborhood taking care of itself.
