About Like Family Lawn Care

Saturday in Shelbyville starts with dew still silvering the grass and the ballfields at Clear Creek Park empty for one more hour. That is when Like Family Lawn Care makes its first pass down a street where the front yards all run together — mowing, trimming along the walks, edging the driveway line, then blowing the clippings back onto the turf where they belong. The work turns neighborly fast: you learn which yard hides a sprinkler head in the bluegrass, which one wants the corner swung wide for the kids' bikes, which gate never latches. By the time the sun clears the treeline, a whole block reads as tended rather than merely cut. In a town this size, the sound of a mower on a Saturday morning is close to a greeting.
