About Lawn Patrol

Fog settles into the Licking River bottom at Salyersville most summer mornings, and it burns off from the ridgetops downward, one hollow at a time. Lawn Patrol works the kind of yard Magoffin County actually has — narrow bottomland strips, banks that fall away toward the creek, and level spots carved out of a hillside that are worth every square foot. Mowing ground like that is half machine and half judgment: where to cut across, where to walk it, how to leave a slope looking even instead of scalloped. Trimming takes the steep edges and the fence lines a deck can never reach, and the walk is cleared before the truck pulls out. Mountains make a small lawn precious, and a well-kept one stands out bright against all that green.
