Ted's Lawn Care

About Ted's Lawn Care

October turns the old streets around the Richmond courthouse square into a long yellow tunnel — maples and sycamores letting go a little more each afternoon, leaves drifting up along the curbs on Main. Ted's Lawn Care spends those weeks behind blowers and bagging decks, clearing yards down to bare turf so the grass goes into winter breathing. The rest of the year runs on a plain weekly rhythm: mow, trim the fence lines, edge the walk, and go. Madison County lawns lean toward fescue that greens hard in spring and again in fall, and cutting them right through both stretches is most of the job. A yard done well never asks for attention — it just sits there looking settled, which is the whole idea.
