About Silver Cliff Landscaping

Under Richmond's yards lies limestone — pale rock that shows itself in the road cuts, in a low sink out in a back pasture, in a spring that runs cold straight through August. Silver Cliff Landscaping works the thin soil above it: mowing on a set schedule, trimming out fence lines and foundations, aerating and overseeding once September cools enough for new fescue to take hold. Evenings here stretch long and gold over the ridge toward White Hall, and a lawn cut late in the day holds that light in stripes for an hour afterward. Beds get shaped and mulched, shrubs get brought back to a form they can keep, and weeds get handled before they set seed. It is ordinary work done in order, and the result is a place that reads as tended from the road.
