The Jones Brothers Group

About The Jones Brothers Group

Storms reach Madison County out of the west with plenty of warning — a green-gray line above the ridges, an hour of hard rain, then fog lying low in the Silver Creek bottoms at first light. The Jones Brothers Group starts those mornings anyway: trailers dropped, mowers running before the dew burns off, wet clippings dealt with instead of dragged across a walk. The work runs the familiar list — cutting on a weekly turn, string trimming, edging, hedge and shrub trimming, mulch in the beds, cleanups at both ends of the year. A crew moving together covers ground in a way one person cannot, and that shows up in how a yard is finished rather than merely mowed. When the last machine shuts off, the street is quieter than they found it and the lawn behind them is even from fence to fence.
