Neighborhood Lawn Care and Moore

About Neighborhood Lawn Care and Moore

October comes down the mountains into Prestonsburg early, and the porch-lined streets near downtown fill with maple and oak long before the ridges have finished turning. Neighborhood Lawn Care and Moore works those blocks the way the name suggests, one address and then the one beside it, until a whole street looks after itself at once. Autumn means leaf removal and yard cleanup stacked on top of the mowing, trimming and edging that carry the rest of the year. At dusk the streetlights come on over a curb swept bare, and the lawn beneath it is short and even and ready for the first frost. It is ordinary work, and it is exactly what makes a Prestonsburg street feel like somebody's home town.
