D&K LawnCare

About D&K LawnCare

April shows up in Pond Creek as color before it shows up as warmth: redbud first, dogwood a week behind, both scattered through the hillsides above the bottoms. That is when the ground finally firms enough for a mower, and D&K LawnCare starts the season's first pass — a low, even cut that takes the winter shag off a yard and wakes the green underneath. Sticks and blown-in leaves come out of the corners first, because nothing good happens when a mower finds them. Bed lines get recut, the ragged edge along the drive gets squared, and the whole yard reads as intentional again. From there it is a steady rhythm on the calendar until the hills go gold in the fall.
