About Grundy's Iron & Metal

Pine Knot sits in McCreary County with the Daniel Boone National Forest on nearly every side, pine and oak crowding right up to the mowed ground. Grundy's Iron & Metal handles the lawn work here — cutting grass, running the trimmer along the tree line, edging drives and clearing the cut away. Sandstone country makes for shallow, rocky yards, and mowing them well means knowing where the ledge runs. Summer in this stretch of Kentucky is green to the point of dense, with a cool draft off the shaded hollows early in the day. A mowed yard set against that wall of forest is a satisfying line to leave behind.
