Huff's Lawn Care

About Huff's Lawn Care

A Saturday afternoon along KY-144 near Philpot smells like cut grass and warm gravel, with the big Daviess County sky stacked full of white summer clouds. Huff's Lawn Care spends those days on the mower, keeping the yards between the Yellow Creek bottoms and the farm roads from getting away from anyone. Regular mowing, trimming close along walls and fence corners, and edging that gives a walkway its shape back — all of it on a schedule, so a lawn never has to be rescued. The last pass is the good one: the pattern lines up and the whole yard sits even under that wide light. The work covers Philpot and the surrounding towns of Maceo, Knottsville, Whitesville, Masonville and Owensboro.
