About Powell & Sons Lawn Co.

First light in early May finds Pewee Valley under a low fog, the trees of the state nature preserve dark at the edges and dew standing on every blade in town. Powell & Sons Lawn Co. starts mornings that way, waiting out the wet just long enough, then working down a street of deep front yards while the day is still cool. Mowing sets the tone, trimming picks up whatever the deck cannot reach, and edging draws the line that makes the rest of it look intentional. It is plain work with a visible result: a yard square to the house, neat at the beds, with no clippings tracked across the porch steps. Pewee Valley anchors the map, with Crestwood, Goshen, Anchorage and La Grange close at hand.
