About Hurst Lawn & Contracting

Central Avenue in Pewee Valley is a tunnel of old shade, tall maples and oaks leaning over Victorian porches, and come October all of it lands on the lawns. Hurst Lawn & Contracting works the cool end of the year, taking the last cuts of the season and clearing leaves off the grass before they mat down and smother it. A yard raked out and cut low in late fall looks like it has been put to bed properly, hedgerow to sidewalk. Beds get cleared, walkways get blown off, and the whole lot goes into the cold months tidy. Pewee Valley is the heart of the route, with work also running to Crestwood, Ballardsville, La Grange and Buckner.
