About Orlando's Landscaping

At day's end the courthouse dome above Main Street holds the last light while the rest of Paris goes blue, and the mowers have been quiet for an hour. Orlando's Landscaping fills the daylight ahead of that with a steady list: lawns cut and cross-cut, trimming worked in around trees and posts and foundation plantings, beds cleaned and edged, mulch pulled back to a defined line. Landscape work in this county is mostly about restraint — letting the bluegrass do what bluegrass does and keeping everything else in its lane. Through summer the routes come around weekly; in fall the leaves are gathered and hauled rather than pushed to the curb to blow back. A yard finished this way looks quiet, which is precisely the point.
