The name is a joke; the mowing is not. Baja haha keeps yards in Paris, Kentucky — the town Stoner Creek runs through, where the streets give way to pasture almost before you notice the change. Evenings in June, with the light going long and gold across Bourbon County, are good for a last pass: grass cut at a height that can take July, trimmer worked around the posts, edges tightened along the walk, clippings blown clear of the concrete.
