Superior Landscapes

About Superior Landscapes

In Lower Town the sidewalks buckle gently over old roots, and the trees along Fountain Avenue throw shade in long bars across the grass. Superior Landscapes works those late-afternoon hours in Paducah, when the brick still holds the day's heat and the light goes the color of weak tea. Front lawns in these blocks are narrow and particular, all deep porches and iron fences and beds crowding the turf, so the mowing goes in patient passes and the trimmer gets right up under the pickets. Edges come back sharp where the walk meets the yard, and the clippings end up off the steps instead of on them. When autumn lets go all at once, the leaves are cleared out of the beds and off the lawn, and the yards head into winter low and tidy.
